Welcome to Red Hills Southern Baptist Church
At Red Hills, we don’t want to just talk about our faith, we want to live it! In Cedar City, throughout the Southwest, and around the world! We want to be a church that loves God, loves others, and makes disciples. That’s why we value engaging worship and biblical messages that connect the truth of God with the reality of everyday life. That’s why we don’t pretend to be perfect and also encourage one another to grow. That’s why we’re involved in local, regional, and global missions efforts. We’d love to have you visit!

What to expect when you visit Red Hills:
- Easy access – Drive down the frontage road from Cedar City or Enoch and there we are! Parking is simple and our front entrance is covered in case of weather.
- Knowledgeable Greeters – We have greeters at our main entrance, just ask them for help or directions!
- Casual Atmosphere – Come as you are! There’s no dress code: you’ll see people in jeans and people in suits. Don’t be surprised if folks come and talk to you, they want to get to know you. As a church body we strive to be a church where friendships are made and relationships are strengthened.
- Secure Childcare – provided during both the Sunday School and Worship Service hours. All childcare workers have background checks and take seriously the privilege of serving your children.
- Worship through singing – The Red Hills Worship Team leads us every week in a selection of contemporary Christian praise songs and hymns that focus our attention on God and his glory.
- Worship through giving – We take up an offering every Sunday, but it’s not an awkward attempt to get your money. It’s for those who want to give as part of their worship. As our guest, please do not feel obligated to give.
- Worship through preaching –Part of our worship is hearing a biblical message from our pastor or another speaker. These messages seek to connect the timeless truths of Scripture with the day-to-day reality of life.
- Opportunity to Respond – Our service concludes with an opportunity to respond to the message and the worship. Most quietly reflect where they are, but some come to the front to pray with the pastor or pray by themselves.
We are a Bible-based church. We affirm that the Word of God is the ultimate standard for our worship, fellowship, and discipleship. We affirm that the Bible is inspired by God, infallible and inerrant in its original manuscripts, and a faithful revelation of God and his attributes. Because there are many interpretations of what the Bible says, we seek to hold closely those doctrines most clearly revealed in the text while offering grace in those areas which are not as clear.
We are a Christian church. The following statement is adapted from the Apostle’s Creed which has been affirmed by faithful Christians for centuries: We believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate and was crucified, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit. We believe in the timeless and worldwide church and the fellowship of the saints. We believe in the forgiveness of sins and the resurrection of the body and everlasting life.
We are a Southern Baptist Church. Therefore we recognize the most recent Baptist Faith & Message as an accurate summary of the Bible’s teaching. For example, we affirm salvation by grace through faith, baptism as a sign of obedience for those who have placed their faith in Jesus as Lord, and we are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission by making disciples who obey the Lord locally, regionally, and globally.
